In the morning, after eating a breakfast, you will meet a special guide who knows a lot about Egypt. They will take you on a tour to see the Giza Pyramids. These pyramids are very important and people long ago thought they were very special. You will even get to see the biggest pyramid, which was made for a king named Cheops. Your guide will tell you all about the religion of ancient Egyptians and how it influenced the things they built, like the pyramids.
Let's go to the Valley Temple! It's a special place in Egypt that was built by a king named Chephren. He was the next king after another famous king named Cheops. Chephren's pyramid complex because it's the only one that is still complete. Inside the complex, there is a big statue called the Great Sphinx. The statue looks like a lion with a man's head. It was made to show that the king was really important and had lots of power and smartness.
After exploring Coptic and Islamic Cairo, we can keep the adventure going by visiting a big castle called the Citadel of Saladin. It was made a long time ago, in the 12th century, by a famous leader named Sultan Saladin. Inside the castle, there is a pretty mosque called the alabaster mosque of Mohamed Ali Basha. This mosque was built by a man named Mohamed Ali Basha, who was brought by the Ottoman Caliphate to help Egypt against an army from France led by Napoleon Bonaparte.
Then we'll go on a special tour of Coptic Cairo. We will visit some important places that have been around for a very long time. First, we will see the Hanging Church. It was built on top of an old Roman Fortress called Babylon. Inside, there is a big room and two smaller rooms on the sides, with a special platform in the middle. Next, we will go to the Ben Ezra Synagogue, which is one of the oldest Jewish temples in Egypt. Lastly, we will visit the Church of St. Sergius. Inside, there is a special room where it is believed that baby Jesus and his mother Mary stayed for three months a long time ago. They were running away from King Herod and stopped at many places in Egypt during the early days of Christianity there.
Once your day trip is done, you will go back to your hotel to sleep for the night.
